Skin deterioration
The deterioration of the skin is produced by a cellular “debilitation”, which is characterized by a decline in the ability of renovation and repair of the skin; it loses elasticity and smoothness and wrinkles are formed. In addition to age, factors such as the sun exposure (spots), diseases and drugs, the hormonal situation, food and the evolution of weight, the exposure to toxic elements and cosmetic cares influence it. When the skin deterioration has affected the ability of the skin to renew, the treatment with Growth Factors restores its vitality and recovers the elasticity, improving the appearance of the skin.
What is bioestimulation?
It is a natural treatment that uses our own selected and concentrated proteins in the body to repair the damage produced by the passage of time and other influential factors. To understand the concept of Skin Bioestimulation with Growth Factors, it is enough to remember the miracle of total healing and regeneration in any wound, thanks to the plasma in our blood which has Growth Factors, which stimulates the necessary processes with which the damaged tissue is recovered.
Method
Platelets are easy to obtain: a small sample of blood is taken, it is centrifuged and in this way a rich platelets plasma is obtained, later it is reintroduced in the body of the patient in the form of very superficial microinjection.
The microinjections are carried out with a very small-caliber needle, being virtually painless.
In addition, a solution of amino acids and biological coenzymes are injected which are natural precursors to synthesize collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
At end of the session a decongestive dermo-cosmetic mask is applied to counteract any discomfort caused by the microinjection.
Protocol
The protocol is specific to each patient on the basis of the characteristics and needs of the skin.
- The treatment with the Growth Factors is carried out between 2 and 3 times a year.
- It is very important to combine an oral pharmacological treatment with antioxidants, amino acids and other substrates that ensures the required availability for the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
- It is also recommended a basic dermo-cosmetic treatment or, if necessary, a specific one.
Duration of treatment
The main session, (where we obtain the growth factors), lasts about 90 minutes.
The sessions with microinjected precursors lasts about 30 minutes.
Adverse Effects
- Discomfort feeling due to the microinjection.
- Ecchymosis (bruising) or redness, which is temporary and concealable with makeup from the beginning.
- With the Growth Factors: there is NO risk of an allergic reaction or transmission of diseases because this is the patient’s own blood.
- With the injected precursors: there is a possibility of an allergic reaction, but it tends to be of little relevance (redness, itching, etc.) All products employed are duly authorized by the Ministry of Health.
Results of the treatment
The growth factors act by stimulating the tissues, so that we cannot expect immediate results. These factors are released over the first three days after treatment. From then, the skin recovers vitality, consistency and smoothness during the following three months.
